Not receiving alerts over LTE Verizon, only WIFI
  • Is anyone else having issues not getting active alerts over LTE or cell data networks? We are only getting ours over WIFI connections. 
  • I heard that Verizon was having problems in some part of one state last week.  If you are still having problems, please contact Active911 support.
  • I had this same issue. It was not a Verizon issue for me. Turned out the iPad went bad and Apple had to replace it.

  • I have been having this problem recently as well.  The app only sends an alert when connected to WiFi, no other app has this issue on my phone.  I have checked my data settings and it is not restricted.  Today, I have contacted Active 911 support without a fix.  I am glad to know that I am not the only one experiencing this problem.
  • I was receiving notifications over LTE until I downloaded the new iOS 8. Now I only receive alerts over wifi.
